One of the unfortunate things about any music festival is that you can’t see everything. Sometimes dueling headliners can make a tough decision, but this year the Friday night lineup at Outside Lands proved particularly annoying.

Aside from the beautiful weather, which was actually reminiscent of summer, the main topic of conversation for the day seemed to be that Phoebe Bridgers and SZA, two of the weekend’s most anticipated performers, were booked at almost identical times on the Twin Peaks and Lands final stages. Gossip about the lineup conflict could be heard in line at the festival entrance and of course people took to Twitter to express their frustration.

Unfortunately, some fans had apparently not yet taken a look at the schedule.

However, it should be noted that Bay Area fans got a chance to catch Bridgers at a secret show in Healdsburg last night. Her Friday night performance will be featured on the festival’s Twitch livestream, and there’s another chance to catch her at an after-party at The Independent.

So maybe just go to SZA.
