The dynamics of the massacre have not yet been clarified, but the police commander: “There is alcohol, minors and weapons: a deadly combination in any type of event”
A boys’ party turned into tragedy overnight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On the eve of Easter, 200 people, many of them minors, flocked to a house rented on Airbnb for the occasion for the meeting.
After midnight, along with music and cocktails, gunshots and blood also arrived. Two underage boys died and at least nine others were injured, police said in a statement. According to initial information, at least three of the injured are in serious condition, reconstructed by CNN.
There was a rush during filming. “Up to 50 shots were fired inside the house, causing many of the partygoers to jump out of the windows, and many more shots were fired outside,” police said.
Shotguns and pistol shells were found at the scene, local Pittsburgh station Wtaetv reported.
The dynamics of the episode have not yet been clarified, and there is currently no information about possible suspects. “There’s alcohol, there’s underage and there’s guns a deadly combination in any type of event, the result is ultimately tragedy,” Pittsburgh Police Commander John Fisher told Wpxitv.
