Two hour air alert: Ukraine intercepts 38 Russian drones

Several people were injured in one of the worst Russian air strikes in recent weeks. A fuel tank in Kursk, Russia, is on fire, Russian authorities say.

The Ukrainian military claims to have intercepted and destroyed 38 Russian drones on Wednesday night. In total, the Russian military fired 42 drones at targets in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force said. There were injuries. The Ukrainian Air Force said Iranian-made Shahed drones were intercepted in southern, central, western and northeastern Ukraine.
