Two Italians injured after apparently accidentally entering a favela in Rio de Janeiro today: CBN radio reports. The two were transferred to the Evando Freire Municipal Hospital – They were in a car with other people who accidentally entered the municipality of Manguinhos in the north of the metropolis of Carioca, where they were hit by shots, media reports based on initial information from the military police. The Rio Municipal Health Secretariat told ANSA that the two Italians injured in the Rio favela were in poor health “stable”.
