Two months after his mother, an infant dies of ‘uncertain’ causes – Le Journal de Montréal

A two-month-old child who was born prematurely due to a blood clot claimed his mother died in the middle of the night from causes still “uncertain” although he may have suffocated in his sleep along with his father, like one Investigation revealed on Wednesday.

“Under the circumstances, it cannot be completely ruled out that accidental air obstructions contributed to Dexter’s death. But therefore the cause of death remains uncertain,” said Dr. William Simmons at the Old Town Hall in Blackburn, Britain, on Wednesday, according to local media Lancs News.

Almost a year after the tragedy, the cause of death of little Dexter Khan-Barnes, who lost his life in the middle of the night in the bed he shared with his brother and father, is still unknown, British media reported.

That night, like the night before, the grieving father had brought two bottles to the bedside to feed the baby when he woke up in the middle of the night. When he woke up around 5.30am and was surprised that he didn’t hear the baby asking for the bottle, he noticed the baby’s arms were limp and his eyes were discolored, local media said.

The examination did not reveal any signs of injury or illness.

Laura Barnes, who always wanted to be a mother, was deprived of the chance to meet her son after she managed to deliver the little one via caesarean section after a blood clot that took her life, her mother told Jennifer barnes
