The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) is asking for the public’s help in finding two octogenarians who have been missing since Thursday.
Édith Dea Landry, 84, and Gérard Filion, 89, were last seen in Longueuil at around 3:40 p.m. and have not given any signs of life since.
“We are worried. I hope we find them. (…) The two with cognitive problems may have gotten lost on the way. How far will they go? Until when?” Edith Dea Landry’s granddaughter Ariane Miron is worried.

According to the Longueuil police, Mr Filion’s vehicle is a brown 2018 Kia Sorento with registration Y53 NKZ.
“We fear for their health and safety,” SPAL said, noting that the two octogenarians suffer from cognitive decline.
Ms. Dea Landry is 1.49 m tall and has brown hair and green eyes, while her companion is 1.83 m tall and has white hair and gray/blue eyes.
Anyone with information that could help find the two elderly people should call 911 immediately, it said.
