The shooting happened as a scuffle broke out around midnight Saturday in Saginaw, about 102 miles northwest of Detroit, Michigan State Police said.

Police initially said about 200 people were in the area of ​​the party and officers dispersed the crowd before the shooting, MLive.com reported.

Three people were also hit by cars and injured as people quickly fled the gunfire, WNEM-TV reported.

No arrests were made in connection with the shooting.

“It was a Saginaw festival for everyone,” said Tami Haley, who prayed for several family members who were injured in the scuffle.

There were no arrests and the police are still investigating.

All 15 victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The medical condition of the survivors is not yet known.
