An SQ investigator and a specialist collision police officer were dispatched to the scene to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the accident.

According to the preliminary information we have, the driver took the turn too quickly, lost control of his vehicle and ended up in the ravine.

The towing process to remove the vehicle from its unfortunate position proved to be very delicate. The forest road had to be closed.

Two tows were still required, one to get the vehicle out of the water and to the edge, and then a more powerful tow to be able to lift the vehicle onto the public road, Nancy Fournier explained.
