On Friday, a man in a car shot at a group of people waiting at a bus stop in Kiryat Malachi, southern Israel. Two people were killed and four injured in the attack. The attacker arrived at the scene in a car, got out and started shooting people at the stop. He was killed shortly afterwards by a man driving on the same road and got out of the car after witnessing the attack.
Police man the entry points to Kiryat Malachi. Israeli police chief Kobi Shabtai said an investigation was underway but did not provide any information about the identity of the attacker.
