Two 19-year-olds avoided the worst in a history of disrupted driving in Saint-Jude, Montérégie, on Friday night.
At around midnight, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) was called to an exit off the Ring Salvail Sud road in Saint-Jude.

“The driver was arrested for being unfit to drive and injured as his passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries,” he added.
We are not afraid for the life of the passenger. The spokesman did not reveal the driver’s blood alcohol level as that element is part of the evidence that will be presented in court.
In addition, other youths were reckless on the night from Friday to Saturday in Montérégie. The SQ had to intervene at 10:45 p.m. at a construction site on Boulevard Laframboise in Saint-Hyacinthe.
“Young people had climbed into the crane,” said Nicolas Scholtus. They came down when the police arrived. Five of them received insults.
