A man died Saturday afternoon after a second shooting in less than 24 hours in Toronto's North York neighborhood.
Shortly after 3 p.m., Queen City police found a man on the ground who had been shot in the area of Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue. He was taken to hospital before succumbing to his injuries, according to the Toronto Police Service.
Remember that on Friday evening at 6 p.m. police were called to a shooting in the same area. One victim was found with a gunshot wound. According to the Toronto Sun, she was between life and death when she was rushed to hospital.

Police said the suspect(s) fled in a stolen black Acura RDX vehicle with license plate CVEN 900. A photo of the vehicle has been released by police and is asking for the public's help to further the investigation.
Authorities say there may be a connection between the two shootings.
Toronto Police urged people to be vigilant in the area.
