Two shootings in less than 24 hours in Toronto: One man loses his life

A man died Saturday afternoon after a second shooting in less than 24 hours in Toronto's North York neighborhood.

Shortly after 3 p.m., Queen City police found a man on the ground who had been shot in the area of ​​Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue. He was taken to hospital before succumbing to his injuries, according to the Toronto Police Service.

Remember that on Friday evening at 6 p.m. police were called to a shooting in the same area. One victim was found with a gunshot wound. According to the Toronto Sun, she was between life and death when she was rushed to hospital.

Police said the suspect(s) fled in a stolen black Acura RDX vehicle with license plate CVEN 900. A photo of the vehicle has been released by police and is asking for the public's help to further the investigation.

Authorities say there may be a connection between the two shootings.
