The 49ers clinched a playoff spot last week and are now poised to win their second straight NFC West title this week.
The 49ers (10-3) have their fate in their hands on Sunday, with a win or draw against the Arizona Cardinals San Francisco will become division champions. However, if the 49ers lose, they can still win the West if the Los Angeles Rams (6-7) lose or tie against the Washington Commanders.
The 49ers are red hot and have rattled off five straight double-digit wins since their bye week. They have also won 10 straight games against NFC West opponents, the third-longest streak in division history.
San Francisco defeated Arizona 35-16 behind a monster four-touchdown performance from Christian McCaffrey when these teams met in Week 4 at Levi's Stadium. However, the Cardinals were without starting quarterback Kyler Murray, who has since returned from an ACL injury that kept him out of Arizona's first nine games this season.
The Cardinals have won two of their last four games since Murray's return, giving the 49ers a far more demanding test than the Arizona team San Francisco faced in September.
