American actor Tyler Christopher, best known for playing Nikolas Cassadine, one of the most popular characters in the soap “General Hospital,” and for playing Stefan DiMera in the other highly successful soap “Time of Our Lives,” has died on the morning of October 31st at his home in San Diego, California, at the age of 50, “suffering from cardiac arrest.” The death was announced by actor Maurice Benard, who played Sonny Corinthos on the ABC soap opera, in a post on Instagram.

Tyler Christopher was married to actress Eva Longoria from 2002 to 2004. He then married journalist Brienne Pedigo, to whom he was married from 2008 to 2021, and they had two children together.
