The actor conquered with his role Nikolas Cassadine, in the series General Hospital. He was also part of the cast of The Days of Our Lives. Both roles earned him Emmy nominations and an Oscar statuette.
The news was confirmed by his castmate, Maurice Benard. The General Hospital actor also shared a few words with his friend on his Instagram account.
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tyler Christopher,” he wrote.
In the following lines he said: “Tyler was a truly talented person who lit up the screen in every scene he played and enjoyed bringing joy to his loyal fans through his performance.” “Tyler was a kind soul and a wonderful friend to all who knew him.”
