At the Xbox Showcase, Ubisoft unveiled the first theatrical trailer for Ubisoft Massive’s “Star Wars Outlaws,” which Ubisoft dubs the “Star Wars Outlaws.”first ever open world Star Wars game.”
The trailer shows a young outlaw named Kay Vess playing a game of cards in a saloon before being chased away by some thugs while there is an off-screen mention of The Syndicate, which has a major role in the TV shows Clone Wars and “Rebels” played. The game follows Vess and her partner Nyx on a heist on a massive crime syndicate in The Outer Rim.

Following the release of the trailer, Ubisoft confirmed that the first gameplay walkthrough for Star Wars Outlaws will be part of the company’s Ubisoft Forward presentation on June 12th.
Ubisoft’s Star Wars game was first teased back in early 2021, but what exactly the game would end up being remained a mystery. Ubisoft Massive is no stranger to the Snowdrop engine, as it powers The Division – which should make it a solid choice for an open-world Star Wars game. During the Ubisoft Forward, the company will also share information on other upcoming projects, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR.
Star Wars Outlaws is slated for release in 2024 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
