(ANSA) — WASHINGTON, MARCH 15 — “The coalition is united and committed to assisting Ukraine for as long as is needed,” Pentagon head Lloyd Austin said as he hosted the tenth meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine in virtual format opened. There he announced that nine countries intend to transfer more than 150 Leopard tanks to Ukraine. “The coalition of countries supplying Ukraine with Leopard tanks continues to grow,” he continued, later thanking various countries for their varied contributions, including Italy.
