“We can confirm that these are actions of the Ukrainian security and defense forces against military targets of the occupiers,” said a spokesman for the intelligence service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
A series of explosions registered in Crimea were the work of Ukrainian armed forces, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s intelligence service confirmed.
“We can confirm that these are actions by the Ukrainian security and defense forces against military targets of the occupiers. The planned work of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces, of course, continues in the military facilities of the occupiers, invaders in the temporarily occupied territories, including Ukrainian Crimea. The details will be released very soon by the Armed Forces and the General Staff,” agency spokesman Andrii Yusov told Ukrainian television.
According to Yussov, “the ultimate goal is, of course, the evacuation of Ukrainian Crimea.”
“At this point, the enemy’s positions must be weakened. Crimea is still used as a logistics center, including for the transfer of enemy forces and assets to other parts of the front. In order to destroy this logistics center, they are used and carried out certain operations: at sea, on land and in the air”.
As a result of the explosions, traffic on the Crimean Bridge was suspended at around 1 p.m. local time.
“Traffic on the Crimean Bridge is temporarily suspended. People on the bridge and in the control zone are asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of road safety officials,” the local road information center said on Telegram.
At the same time as traffic was disrupted, a wall of fog was seen in the Sevastopol area, on the other side of the Crimean peninsula. In Crimea, Russian authorities often use smoke screens to thwart attempted drone attacks.
Image of smoke coming from a Russian ship in occupied Inkerman, Sevastopol Bay, Crimea, Ukraine. It definitely looks like a PR. 775 Ropuchaclass landing ship. I believe it is forming a smoke screen and not on fire.#OSINT#Counteroffensive#UkraineRussiaWar#UkraineWar… pic.twitter.com/Vfc2sDNWV1

“As a result of the work of antiaircraft weapons, according to preliminary data, the downed unmanned aerial vehicles fell in Verkhnesadovoye and in Kacha (both near the city). There were no casualties,” Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said, adding: “Aerosol masking agents” were used.
