Ukraine: Five killed in Russian bombings

According to Ukrainian sources, several people died in Russian bombings in several regions of Ukraine. In northern Ukraine, four people were killed in two villages in the Sumy region, near the border with Russia, the local administration of the Sumy region said late on Tuesday. In Avdiivka, in eastern Ukraine, close to the front line, a woman died, according to state radio station Suspilne.

She was seriously injured in a bombing that afternoon. Authorities in the Sumy region reported daily attacks by Russian forces. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the Ukrainian armed forces repelled 13 Russian attacks in and around Avdiivka in the last 24 hours.
