According to the headline, during this period Russian troops destroyed 21 aircraft, five helicopters, 1,244 enemy tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 17 German-made Leopard tanks, five French AMX wheeled tanks and 12 American Bradley infantry vehicles.
In addition, they destroyed 914 units of special automotive equipment, two anti-aircraft missile systems, 25 multiple rocket launchers, 403 field artillery pieces and mortars, and shot down 176 HIMARS shells, 27 Storm Shadow missiles and 483 Ukrainian drones, Shoigu noted.
The minister emphasized the damage inflicted by Russian troops on enemy artillery. “I repeat again: 403 guns, including 43 American M777 artillery systems and 46 self-propelled artillery systems, donated by Poland, the United States and France.”
He added that Russian troops continue to target enemy reserves and military equipment from the West with precision weapons, which significantly reduces the attack potential of Ukrainian troops.
Shoigu also noted that the Russian Defense Ministry is aware that the results of combat operations are being carefully tracked and analyzed by foreign intelligence agencies, primarily the United States and North Atlantic Treaty Organization countries.
“They note the high effectiveness of our defense lines, the installed mine barriers, the high-quality work of the army and fighter pilots in conducting pre-emptive strikes against identified enemy targets,” he said.
