“China will persistently promote peace talks. We are ready to make a real contribution to the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis through contacts and coordination with Russia,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry website said.
During the meeting, Qin Gang stressed the strengthening of Beijing-Moscow interaction following Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia in March. “China and Russia are maintaining more and more active contacts at all levels and promoting cooperation in all fields,” he added.
ISW: “Moscow will use Kremlin attack to cancel May 9 parades”
Russia could use its May 3 drone strike on the Kremlin to cancel as many parades as possible for May 9, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
