Some civilian buildings in downtown Kryvyi Rih became the target of Russian attacks overnight, Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul said. The city’s bombing would also have hit a five-story building, causing at least three deaths and 25 injuries. “There are people who have been injured in extremely serious conditions,” Vilkul said on his Telegram profile, adding that “there are probably people lying under the rubble, too.”
Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been a frequent target of Russian drone and missile attacks since the beginning of the Moscow War.
