Ukraine: Russian drone strike in Odessa Oblast, at least 11 injured News Ansa.it

At least 11 people were injured and several buildings were damaged after a Russian drone strike caused a fire in the Odessa region, Ukraine's state rescue service said on Telegram. It is said that three children were among the injured.

According to local media, a series of explosions had previously occurred in the Ukrainian city of Kherson. The air raid alarm was also raised in the Mykolaiv region during the night.

Meanwhile, the Russian Interior Ministry has placed Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian military intelligence service Hur, on the federal wanted list. The local media reported about it. Budanov was charged with “terrorism” by the Russian Investigative Committee in October along with other senior Ukrainian military officers. The Moscow ministry's database says that Budanov is being investigated under the Russian Criminal Code, but it does not specify which article he is being investigated under.

The Kremlin claims it is responsible for terrorist attacks because of the Hur's role in Ukraine's attacks on the Crimean Bridge. His wife Marianna Budanova was poisoned last November. The Hur reported that Budanov himself was the target of Russian assassination attempts more than ten times. Russia recently put Ukrainian singer Jamala on the federal wanted list, claiming she spread “disinformation” about the Moscow military on social media. Others wanted by Russia include Meta's spokesman and the heads of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
