Ukraine: Zacharova, ‘new London sanctions show blatant hypocrisy’ Il Tirreno

Moscow, July 18. (Adnkronos) – London’s new sanctions against Russian citizens and organizations “are nothing more than a sign of blatant hypocrisy, something that has become a hallmark of London’s foreign policy.” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said no “sanctions shake” could help London force Russia to change course. “The task and goals of the military special operation will be fully achieved,” he said. “With a false ‘concern for children’,” he added, “London continues to display unprecedented cynicism and supply deadly weapons to the Kiev regime, which uses them against civilians and civilian infrastructure in the republic’s Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. In Crimea and other Russian regions, British shells are killing, paralyzing and orphaning the children it supposedly “defends”. London is complicit in this and other crimes committed by the Kiev regime and will not shirk its responsibilities. The British Foreign Office yesterday announced sanctions against 13 Russian citizens and the international children’s center Artek in Crimea. The restrictions, which include a travel ban and an asset freeze, affect Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, Governor of the Kamchatka Region Vladimir Solodov, Governor of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov and the head of the military-civilian administration of the Kharkov region.
