Ukrainian Defense Forces strike up to 30 concentrations of Russian troops and 7 anti-aircraft missile systems, General Staff report

The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks near 16 settlements in three oblasts and conducted numerous successful attacks on Russian positions, hitting nearly 30 areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated and seven Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

Quote: “Over the past 24 hours, enemy forces conducted 9 missile strikes and 23 air strikes and deployed multiple missile systems [MLRS] to over 80 other attacks. There is a significant ongoing threat of Russian air and missile attacks on civilian installations across Ukraine.

The enemy forces concentrate their main efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka front offensive. They conduct defensive operations on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Novopavlivka and Kherson fronts.”

No Russian offensive groups were reported Volyn, Polissia, Siwershchyna or Slobozhanshchyna frontsalthough Russia continues to increase its aircraft fleet in Belarus under the guise of joint military exercises.

Russian forces shelled areas in and around Tymofiivka (Sumy Oblast) and Veterynarne, Strilecha, Zelene, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Budarky, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna and Kupiansk (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Kupyansk FrontAreas in and around Tavilzhanka, Vilshana, Orlianske, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, Berestove, Stelmakhivka and Vyshneve (Kharkiv Oblast) and Novoselivka (Luhansk Oblast) came under Russian fire.

On the Lyman frontRussian forces used all weapons at their disposal to fire on areas in and around Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Dibrova and Serebrianka Forestry (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Bachmut in frontVerkhnokamianske, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka and Maiorsk (Donetsk region) came under Russian fire.

On the Avdiivka in frontRussian forces attacked Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk region).

On the Zaporizhia Front, Russian forces used tank guns, mortars and artillery to attack over 20 settlements, including Vremivka and Novopil (Donetsk region); and Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Bilohiria, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske (Zaporizhia Oblast).

On the Kherson in frontRussian occupying forces shelled Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Inhulets, Kherson, Blahovishchenske and Rozlyv.

The General Staff reported that Russia was preparing another covert wave of mobilizations in temporarily occupied Crimea. In Sevastopol, IT, finance and other professionals who were previously on leave are now being drafted.

Ukrainian planes carried out 21 airstrikes on concentration areas of Russian occupying forces and 7 on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 3 Lancet-3 UAVs.

Ukraine’s missile forces and artillery attacked 6 Russian command posts, 8 concentrations of Russian military personnel and an ammunition storage point.
