Ukrainian forces launched an artillery strike against a sophisticated Russian radar jamming system near Kharkiv, video shows.
Ukraine’s military on Wednesday released a 30-second aerial view of what it calls the aftermath of a fiery attack on an enemy military facility using the R-330Zh radar jamming system.
Footage shows flames and thick black smoke billowing from the blasted facility.

The equipment, also known as “Zhitel,” was destroyed in a joint operation by air strike forces and ground forces, officials said.

Ukraine said the system was “designed for automated detection, direction finding and analysis of radio signals”.

The Army Technology website reported that the “Zhitel” machine was also capable of jamming satellite and cellular communications systems.
Ukraine hasn’t identified the location of the strike, but Business Insider reported that armchair detectives on social media located it in a hamlet outside of Izyum, 75 miles southeast of Kharkiv.
Russian troops have been driven out of the region by Ukrainian forces in recent days.
