It’s not uncommon for Hollywood stars to sport striking looks on the Cannes red carpet.
But Ukrainian model Alina Baikova made a particularly bold fashion statement – she wore a short dress that read ‘F*** YOU PUTIN’.
The 34-year-old, who has modeled for Calvin Klein, Lanvin and Dior, appeared in a beige raincoat, which she then opened up to reveal a defiant insult to Vladimir Putin written in huge letters on a blue and yellow outfit of the Ukrainian flag.
She was immediately surrounded by five security guards in black suits, who led her away.

Footage of their protest at Friday’s event went viral on social media.
Ms. Baikova, who was born near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, told her 3.5 million Instagram followers, “Here’s proof of ‘REAL SUPPORT’ for Ukraine!” the festival doesn’t want to get political.”
In response to the war, Russian films were banned from the festival.
