His name was Vitaly Milevsky and he was known as the “military tiktoker” of the Ukrainian army. In his videos on social media, he recounted life at the front and lashed out at the Russian enemy with violent insults: a heartfelt hatred that made him famous for his blind violence against the Moscow military. The family hadn’t heard from him since early January and this video clarified the reason for their silence: In the clip, captured by a Russian soldier’s bodycam, Milevsky and another comrade can be seen confronting the attack by a section of Wagner. At the sight of the enemy soldier Vitaly and his companion do not react – some suspect because they did not fully understand the intentions of the soldier from Moscow. They may try to establish dialogue, but it’s not enough: Wagner’s man doesn’t think twice, snatches a semi-automatic from their hands and unloads it at them, instantly freezing them for violating the Geneva Conventions’ rules of voluntary killing .
According to information from local media, the attack took place on the Kremina front in Lugansk Oblast.
