The singer and songwriter Michael Joseph Jackson became one of the most successful personalities in the world.
Known as “The King of Pop”, he was born in Indiana, USA, the eighth child of the Jackson family. First he formed the group The Jackson 5 with his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon.
Beginning in 1979, Michael was in the spotlight with the release of the album Off the Wall. By 1980, his solo career was already prominent, and the singer had hits like “Thriller,” “Beat It,” and “Billie Jean.”
In the 90s, Michael gained even more popularity and also became known for his controversies. Unfortunately, his career was cut short on June 25, 2009. The singer died at his home after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Emergency services were called and after several attempts to revive him, it was confirmed that the King of Pop had passed away.
The news shocked the world and became the subject of the main means of communication of the time. Artist Hidreley Diao is known for his photo edits on social media.
