The Chomedey district of Laval was again the scene of gun violence from Sunday to Monday night, for which a man was arrested.

The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. outside Le Skratch bar on Boulevard Curé-Labelle, when three people were evicted from the bar for unknown reasons.
As they drove off in a vehicle, the driver reportedly fired several shots in the air.
Police officers who were nearby intercepted the people and arrested the 28-year-old driver.
The 28-year-old Montreal man is known to SPVM police officers. He was still being held as of Monday morning and is expected to be interrogated in the coming hours.
This is the 25th firearms-related arrest in Laval since the beginning of the year.
The firearm allegedly used was near the vehicle in the morning. Expert opinions are given.
Nobody was hurt.
