A four meter long alligator is unusual. Even less so when he’s walking around with a human body in his mouth. This happened on Friday afternoon in Florida in the United States, as Sud-Ouest reported.
After a passerby saw the animal running around in a canal in Pinellass County with a body in its mouth, he raised the alarm. The witness of this scene, JaMarcus Bullard, had the reflex to film the scene. “I could see there was a body in his mouth,” he told local media.

An autopsy will be carried out
The area is known to be home to many alligators. However, one local resident, Jennifer Dean, said she had never seen specimens this large.
The body the alligator was holding between its teeth has not yet been identified, but it is believed to be that of an adult. It was recovered by county officials, who shot the animal upon arrival. The sheriff’s office said an autopsy will be performed “to determine the cause and circumstances of death.”
