The reigning Peruvian football champions confirmed the departure of attacker Emanuel Herrera and goalkeeper José Carvallo. Uruguayan Luis Urruti was also unable to agree on his extension.

- Matias Di Benedetto: The 30-year-old Argentine central defender joined Universitario for the entirety of 2023. Now the player is in negotiations to complete his extension.
- Nelson Cabanillas: The 27-year-old full-back has a contract valid until the end of 2024 and the board is aiming for a contract extension until 2026. The player and his representative have not yet given any response regarding his extension.
- Andy Polo: The Peru international is currently negotiating a contract extension with the club. The striker wants to stay.
- Roberto Siucho: The midfielder returned to Universitario this year but did not make his debut. The 26-year-old footballer has a contract until 2024 and those around him are waiting for a proposal from the club to define his future.
- Martin Perez Guedes: The midfielder has everything ready for an extension with Universitario until 2025. The player will complete his nationalization soon and will not hold a foreign position.
