Before the “U” player took the field for the Baisers’ win, she posted an emotional message ahead of her wedding.
“Today we woke up happy, blessed, protected, with good vibes, the desire to conquer the world, and most of all: grateful for everything God has done in our lives,” Coraima Gómez wrote on her Instagram.

Hours later, Coraima Gómez put on the Universitario de Deportes uniform and walked onto the court to play against the Olva Latino team on the third day of the National Volleyball League.
The “U” rival showed a great reaction when the result was negative and put the meringues on the ropes. However, Coraima Gómez and her teammates were able to win after 5 sets (21-25, 25-16, 25-17, 20-25 and 15-11).
