Agatha (Eliane Giardini) will appeal and play her last card to turn the tide and regain Antônio’s (Tony Ramos) trust in Terra e Paixão. The fraudster will be exposed by the farmer who will be furious when he finds out she is Jonatas’ (Paulo Lessa) mother and will look for her exhusband to tell him she is leaving Nova Primavera. She will pretend to be a victim and manage to make Antônio freak out about the possibility of losing her again.
Irene’s (Gloria Pires) husband begins to realize his exwife’s true character when he learns that she never told him about the affair and son with Gentil (Flavio Bauraqui) before their wedding. Antônio will tell Agatha that she is a huge disappointment and begins to treat her coldly. He will even resume his relationship with Irene.
To reverse the situation, Caio’s mother (Cauã Reymond) visits Antônio, not only to explain himself but also to perform his play. She will say that she shouldn’t have returned to the city and that it was best to leave. Agatha will return the necklace and bank card given to her by her exhusband and refuse the compensation he gives her.
When the undead says goodbye to Antônio, the farmer’s penny drops and he starts looking for her, completely desperate. On the September 23 episode of Globo’s Nine O’Clock soap opera, Tony Ramos’ character will admit that he still has feelings for his ex. “I love you, Agatha. That’s why I was angry when I found out that you had a child with another man and hid it from me…” he will say.
Agatha will use the statement and ask about his marriage to Irene. “I really like her. She is a great woman. We started a family together… But I really feel the love for you,” he says.
Caio’s mother will cynically say that she doesn’t want to destroy anyone’s home: “I don’t want to, I can’t, I don’t have the right,” she will downplay. “Agatha… I don’t know what to do… But I’ll think about it. I’m just asking you not to go. Don’t disappear again! Please!” the Almighty will beg.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will be broadcast until January next year, when it will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
