All nine people who died in the two US military helicopters that collided in Kentucky on Wednesday night (29th), the US government announced this Thursday (30th).

The accident occurred during a routine training mission near Fort Campbell at around 10:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. GMT).
A US Army spokesman said the military is flying two Black Halk HH60 helicopters that are being used in support of special operations.
The HH60 is a variant of the Black Hawk helicopter, which the Army says was being developed in support of various military operations, including airstrikes and medical emergencies.

The circumstances of the accident have not yet been released by the US Army.
