The final Grand Slam of the season continues today with the men’s semifinals, where No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and No. 3 Daniil Medvedev go head-to-head to see who advances to the US Open final. Alcaraz goes into the game with an easy win over number 12 seed Alexander Zverev 6:3, 6:2, 6:4. Meanwhile, Medvedev prevailed in straight sets 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 against Andrey Rublev – but the 2021 US Open champion had to take two medical breaks during the game because of the extreme heat on Wednesday suffered. Temperatures reached 93 degrees Fahrenheit during the game. A high temperature of 88 degrees is forecast for Friday.
