(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, 03 OCT. – The US Supreme Court has rejected the gun lobby’s attempt to scrap Donald Trump’s ban on so-called “bump stocks,” a type of booster that allows semi-automatic rifles to fire faster. The American media reported.
The Nine Wise Men’s ruling comes as a major blow to the lobby, especially after the June ruling that established that the Second Amendment to the US Constitution, which pertains to the right to bear arms, also guarantees a person’s right to bear arms outside the United States wear homeland.
The ban, which the Supreme Court decided to uphold today, was a rare anti-gun measure by the Trump administration, imposed after the 2017 Las Vegas massacre, when Stephen Paddock used power-ups to open fire at a music festival while doing it Killed 58 people. (HAND).
