Last week in Alabama, a little boy was killed while getting a haircut.
According to AL.com, five-year-old Brandon Jamal Nation III's grandmother took him to a home in Bessemer, Alabama, for a haircut on the morning of January 7th.
While they were outside, a man fired several shots into the house, killing the boy and seriously injuring the barber.
“We know that someone who wasn't in the house shot at the house,” Detective Justin Burmeister said.
“Our condolences go out to the family during this incredibly difficult time,” said Burmeister, who said he is working tirelessly to solve this case.
Police said two suspects were arrested and a third was wanted for his alleged role in the shooting, local media WBMA reported. Kendrick O'Neal, 26, and Tatyonna Estacia Smith, 24, were charged with murder and attempted murder. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Kedarrius Odell Mack was wanted on the same charge. Authorities tried to locate Mack, but he turned himself in on Friday.
