In Texas, a 6-year-old boy was beaten by his neighbor who allegedly broke into his home and then beat him with a baseball bat.
The victim, a boy named Jeremy, lost consciousness after the attack around 5 a.m. on Sept. 11 in the Georgetown area, according to the New York Post.
The attacker, Daniel Logan, was specifically charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon capable of causing death. According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Daniel Logan also beat his own mother with a baseball bat.

It was Mr. Logan’s wife who called 911. She stated that “Daniel killed everyone.” On the day of the attacks, she was woken up by the sound of a door.
She discovered that her husband was no longer in the apartment. The woman then went out the back before seeing that the neighbors’ glass door had been smashed.
Then she heard her mother-in-law and Jeremy’s mother screaming in the house next door.

Then Daniel Logan’s mother came out covered in blood. She screamed for help.
The police do not know the motive for the attack. According to them, it could be a “random attack”.
A GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign has been launched for Jeremy and his parents. More than $200,000 was raised for his medical care.

The child’s father also posted a message on GoFundMe.
“Jeremy is still in intensive care but he can move his limbs,” he wrote.
