USA, Great Grandmother Has Alzheimer’s And Forgets To Close Door: 18 Month Old Twins Walk Into Pool And Drown

tragedy Oklahoma Cityin the United States, where 18-month-old twins Loklyn and Loreli Callazzo drowned in the family villa’s swimming pool. According to a family member’s statement, quoted by the Chron, the children’s great-grandmother – a resident of the villa and suffering from Alzheimer’s – would have left the back door open, allowing the twins access to the swimming pool.

Also according to reports in the English tabloid, it was the mother, the 37-year-old housewife, who found and extracted the children’s bodies
Jenny Callazzo, who lives at the villa with her grandmother, children (she has four others) and husband Sonny, 42. The woman attempted to revive her children before help arrived. But there was nothing they could do for her. Police have launched an investigation but say the death appears to have been tragic.

A fundraiser was started on GoFundMe to help the family. “These beautiful children were taken from us too soon. Anything you can do to help cover the cost would be greatly appreciated. We appreciate everyone’s love and support,” the campaign reads.
