USA, Pence: Trump Wrong Jan 6th and Wrong Again Today Ultima Ora

(ANSA) — WASHINGTON, JUNE 7 — “On January 6, I did my duty: to defend the American Constitution. It was a difficult day and I chose the Constitution. Trump was wrong then and wrong now.” Former US Vice President Mike Pence said in a debate with Republican voters on CNN. “I’m running for President because I believe the United States is in serious trouble. Joe Biden has weakened America,” Pence said again.

“I hope that Donald Trump will not be taken to court for issuing classified documents. The trial of a former president would be a divisive act for an already divided America,” stressed the candidate in the 2024 elections, also referring to the handling of Joe Biden’s secret documents.

“I hope that the former president and current president will find a way forward,” Pence said.

“I’m pro-life and I won’t apologize for it,” she responded to a question about abortion. Pence also commended the US Supreme Court for its historic ruling a year ago, effectively abolishing abortion rights nationwide. “He gave America a chance for a fresh start. As President, I will support the right to life at every level, in the United States and abroad,” added the Republican nominee in the 2024 election, claiming that Planned Parenthood was established during the Trump administration, an organization that campaigning for abortion rights, funding was cut.
