Joe Biden, Republicans say, “lied” to the American people. Their leader in the US House of Representatives announced on Tuesday, September 12th that they were opening an impeachment inquiry against the president. It is the suspicious affairs of the son of the head of state, Hunter Biden, that form the starting point of this investigation.

The latter is a 53-year-old businessman, former drug addict and also in trouble with the law, in particular because he illegally owned a firearm. Hunter Biden is suspected of having concluded questionable contracts in China and Ukraine between 2009 and 2017. His father was Barack Obama’s vice president at the time and his son is said to have benefited from it.

This is not the first parliamentary investigation into the current president and re-election candidate. The White House spokesman denounced in particular that it was offensive on the social network. This new investigation has little chance of leading to impeachment since Democrats have the majority in the Senate and that chamber would decide Joe Biden if he were impeached.
