In less than a week, psychosis gripped the crew of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington. The American media CNN, in fact, reveals that three sailors died in an unexplained manner while the ship is currently in Newport News, Virginia, where it is the subject of a refueling and overhaul consisting in replacing the fuel.

It all started on April 9th ​​and 10th when two sailors were found dead outside the base, while a third American was found unconscious aboard the aircraft carrier last Friday, April 15th, before dying. “While these incidents are still being investigated, there is no initial indication that there is a connection between these tragic events,” said Navy spokesman Cmdr. Reann Mommsen.

The third deceased sailor not yet identified

If the Navy has not yet given a cause of death for the three deceased, a special psychiatric intervention team has been dispatched to the ship to provide psychological support to the sailors still on board. The victim found on April 9 was identified as Third Class Mikail Sharp, while the second body found the next day was that of Natasha Huffman, also Third Class.

On the other hand, the name of the third sailor who was found unconscious before dying on April 15 is not yet known.
