Two people were killed and three injured in a shooting in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on Saturday afternoon.
Officials arrived at the scene of a “celebration for life” at a residence and described what they described as a “chaotic scene”.
One man died at the scene, while another was pronounced dead in a private vehicle on arrival at hospital.
According to Fox 9, police said an altercation took place in a car park at Kings Crossing, an owner of retirement homes. Shots were fired in the parking lot.
Investigators are currently on the ground trying to understand the circumstances that led to this event.
These are the fourth and fifth homicides in Saint Paul this year.
