USA, White House evacuated, alarm goes off: "found cocaine"

A wing of the White House was evacuated after the US Secret Service, the US federal agency that works to protect presidents, found cocaine. The US secret service is investigating the discovery of the substance in the west wing of the White House, which is open to tourists. Police made the announcement, saying US President Joe Biden was at Camp David when the white powder found by agents in a common area was tested and found positive for cocaine.

After the discovery, the White House was evacuated.

It wouldn’t be the first time drugs have entered the White House. Rapper Snoop Dogg said he smoked weed in a bathroom in 2013, and Willie Nelson confessed to smoking a joint on the roof of the White House during Jimmy Carter’s presidency. British actor Erkan Mustafa said he smoked marijuana and did a string of cocaine while visiting the White House during First Lady Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No” anti-drug campaign. Jefferson Airplane singer Grace Slick said in 2011 that she tried to add LSD to President Richard Nixon’s tea in 1970, but failed.
