Week 2 of the 2022 USFL season concludes Sunday in what may be the most exciting matchup of all time as the New Orleans Breakers take on the Tampa Bay Bandits. It’s still early days but these two teams are considered the best in the league. It’s Jordan Ta’amu versus Kyle Sloter. Who do you have?
The Bandits made easy work of the Pittsburgh Maulers last week, defeating them 17-3. Ta’amu passed for 185 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in the win. He looked sharp on the first drive of the game, and the points that came from that possession were all Tampa Bay needed to win. Expect the Breakers to rely on the ground game. Jordan Ellis and TJ Logan combined for 145 of the Breakers’ 171 rushing yards and two combined touchdowns in their Week 1 win against the Philadelphia Stars.
