Usher will headline the Super Bowl 2024 halftime show presented by Apple Music during the game, scheduled to take place on February 11, 2024.
The legendary Atlanta singer will take the stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the first time the big game has been held in that city.
“It is an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl appearance off my bucket list. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show like they’ve never seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity a reality. We’ll see each other soon.”
Usher also announced that his ninth album, Coming Home, will be released on Super Bowl Sunday. This set marks his first new album since 2016’s Hard II Love, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200. The new album will include his previous release, 2023’s Good Good, featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage.
Over the course of his career, Usher recorded 18 Top 10 hits on the Hot 100, including nine No. 1 hits, with songs such as “U Got It Bad,” “Yeah!” with Lil Jon and Ludacris, “My Boo” with Alicia Keys and “OMG” with. will.i.am., which is sure to fuel speculation about who might appear alongside him as a special guest. He has also released four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 throughout his career.

This year marks the fifth year of the NFL’s partnership with Roc Nation to produce the halftime show, following a deal struck in 2019. This partnership has resulted in halftime shows from Shakira and Jennifer Lopez (2020), The Weeknd (2021). , a hip-hop showcase hosted by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar (2022) and Rihanna (2023).

This is also the second year the halftime show has been presented by Apple Music, following a decade of Pepsi sponsorship. Rihanna’s 2023 performance – during which the superstar revealed she was pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky – was the most-watched halftime show of all time.

The show is produced by DPS with executive producers Roc Nation and Jesse Collins and directed by Hamish Hamilton.
