After breaking up with Theo (Emilio Dantas), Clara (Regiane Alves) will be so desperate to run out of money that she will turn to her rich godmother. In Vai na Fé, she will ask for a loan from the woman who agrees to help her. But before the money hits the account, the former model receives outrageous advice from her relative, who suggests she resume marriage with the villain.
In the scenes set to air on Friday (16th) in the chapter of Globo’s seven o’clock soap opera, Clara will find herself in the worst possible financial situation. Theo will have reduced the amount he transferred to her account and the dondoca will not know how to pay her bills.
She will then call her godmother Iolanda (actress name not disclosed) for a visit. The woman will soon realize what the goddaughter’s intentions are. “You didn’t call me for coffee and cake, Clara. Tell me. What can your godmother help you with?” she will ask.
The Regiane Alves character will say she kicked Theo out of the house and the godmother will soon regret it and say they make a beautiful couple. “He cheated on me. Often. With several women, certainly also with call girls. But also with the wife of a friend of ours,” he reveals.
“I know exactly how you feel. Your late godfather didn’t do any good either,” Iolanda commented. “The problem is that he’s blocking my access to the money. The apartment is in my name, but I have no way of paying the bills. He even stopped paying my wage bills to the company. I need help,” admits Rafa’s (Caio Manhente) mother.
Iolanda will promptly tell her goddaughter how much money she and Rafa need per month and what she will make available. Clara will be very grateful, but her godmother will soon add: “Thank you for going back to Theo.” I’m entitled to a pension or something. I’m already looking for a lawyer!” Clara warns. Richie is not moved and adds:
I can help you for a few months. You’d better stand by your decision so Theo knows you’re not a silly little wife. But a separation for treason is bullshit. Ultimately, every marriage is a marriage of convenience. Even those who have love.
