“The feature that defines Shooting Locations Marketplace and distinguishes it from other events is the emphasis on the figure of the localizer, the work program is articulated around this professional, to whom the destinations have the opportunity for two days to present their proposals for the location of shootings present “.
This was stated by the general director of the Feria de Valladolid, Alberto Alonso.
“The outcome of the first edition was really good and marks the line on which we must move forward: towards greater internationalization both in the offer of destinations and in the involvement of intermediaries, producers and service companies”, specified Alonso.
The nomination targets 60 targets, including the staff of the Spanish Film Commission (Madrid, Andalusia, Vigo, Valencia, the Canary Islands…); countries like Portugal and Norway.
Of the locators, more than 60 professionals from seven countries have confirmed their presence in Valladolid. Spain, UK, USA, Germany, Malta, Canada and Portugal.
In addition to several international names from film directors such as Dan Connolly, Bill Doyle, Georgette Turner, Julie Hannum, Markus Bensch, Angus Ledgerwood or Peter Gray, there will be delegates from the series Citadel, Enola Holmes, Wonder Woman 84, The Suicide Squad, Captain Marvel, Top Gun: Maverik, The Romanovs and John Wick 3: Parabellum.
The central axis of the Shooting Locations Marketplace is the interview schedule, previously arranged based on common interests. a conference program in which the trends in the industry are analyzed and which factors determine the choice of one or the other travel destination.
