Varadero will have a replica of the famous “Floridita”.

Havana Cuba. – Empresa Extrahotelera Palmares SA announced on its Facebook page the upcoming opening of an exact replica of the bar-restaurant in the resort of Varadero Florida of Old Havana, one of the tourist attractions of the capital.
The publication gives an overview of the elegant and welcoming atmosphere of a place whose history is closely linked to one of its regular customers: the novelist Ernest Hemingway, who perpetuated the phrase: My mojito at La Bodeguita and my daiquiri at El Floridita.
In 2003, sculptor José Villa Soberón created a life-size bronze sculpture depicting the American writer and journalist leaning at one end of the bar, where he sampled the classic Cuban cocktail.
The replica of the famous Floridita will bring another interesting place to Varadero, which in May will host the fortieth International Tourism Fair of Cuba.
