Police officers from the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges Est were called to rue des Sauternes in Vaudreuil-Dorion early on Sunday afternoon. A small circular street lined with imposing stone houses and mature trees, close to Lac des Deux Montagnes.
At the scene, police found the bodies of a man and a woman. No information had been given about the causes of death at the end of the evening. According to our information, the two people were related.
They had lived in this house for several years and, according to the neighborhood, were “rather young”, less than 40 years old.
living in seclusion
Everyone in the neighborhood knows each other, neighbors told La Presse. “We’re all outside in the summer,” says another neighbor who has lived across the street from the house where the bodies were found for about three years. “But we don’t know if they’re there,” she adds.
This reclusive life is fascinating in the neighborhood. “They were young, but they didn’t go to work, they didn’t go out, they didn’t have children, they never had visitors,” wonders this neighbor.
